Canadian Inline Hockey Association is now seeking letters of interest from CIHA member leagues who are interested with hosting the following 2002 & 2003 CIHA events. It is the purpose of the CIHA Directors and staff to establish event venues for the next two years, to allow proper planning, preparation and marketing/promotion for CIHA and the host committees.
2002 Events:
1. Western Cdn National Inline Hockey Championship (BC, AB, SK, MB)
2. Can Am Cup Tournament Series Events:
a) Pacific Can Am Cup - BC
b) Western Can Am Cup - AB/SK
c) Manitoba Can Am Cup - MB
d) Ontario Can Am Cup & Global Inline Hockey Festival - ON
e) Quebec Can Am Cup - QB
f) Atlantic Can Am Cup - NS, NB. PEI , NFLD
3. Spring Blast - ON (May 2002)
4. Summer Slam - ON ( June 2002)
5. Ontario Inline Cup -- "Provincials" - ON ( End of July 2002)
2003 Events:

Any leagues interested in hosting any of these CIHA sanctioned events should submit a letter of interest to the undersigned prior to Sept. 21, 2001.
The objective of the CIHA Directors regarding sanctioned events is to ensure that all events have the opportunity to be well attended by CIHA member teams and USA / International teams. The scheduling of each of these events will be to maximize the number of teams entered into an event, but not to saturate a region with too many events resulting in average participation.
