Walter has a long history with inline hockey and believes in the creativity and fun that this game provides young players. Coming from the father of the most creative hockey player ever to play the game of hockey speaks volumes for the game of inline hockey.

Walter has been involved with coaching in the local Brantford community league for the past six years and has been coaching with Team Ontario youth teams the past five years with his coaching “buddies” Bob Coyne and Bob Bradley. This trio continues to be involved with the local league in Brantford and will be attending Edmonton, Alberta in July with the Team Ontario 14U squad during the World Inline Cup.

Canadian Inline Hockey Association will begin to develop promotional material that will feature Mr. Gretzky with the message of “FUN FIRST” and the general promotion of this great game of inline hockey.

If you have been to an event where Walter is attending then you know how visible he is and how he brings additional excitement and entertainment to these events.
