CHATHAM, Ontario, Canada - Canadian
Inline Hockey Association (CIHA)
announces today that the organizing
committee of the 2003 World Inline Cup
have revised the dates of the World
Inline Cup and Western Can Am Cup
event, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
The revised dates have been confirmed
as July 7-13, 2003 for the World Inline
Cup, which will provide more
opportunity for International teams to
participate and will help avoid some
North American High School exam
schedules.
“It is difficult to schedule event
dates for major inline hockey events
such as this with such a short window
of opportunity for the North American
Spring/Summer inline hockey season”,
says Dave Easter of CIHA.
The Western Can Am Cup event, which
traditionally attracts well over 100
domestic “community club teams”, has
been scheduled for July 4-6,2003 to
proceed the World Inline Cup.
