Inline Hockey as a Vital Part of Canadian Life
As we all know, ice hockey is Canada’s passion. It is to Canada what football is to the United States, soccer is to Europe, etc. Summer time melts the frozen ponds which many future hockey stars across Canada train on and develop their skills. One might wonder then, how do they train when it is summer time in order to maintain their skills? There are two options. One is by using indoor ice rinks to play ice hockey. The other option is to join an inline hockey team.
Inline hockey, which is also known as roller hockey, is similar to ice hockey. It is played with the same number of players, contains a puck, etc. The only major difference is roller skates rather than ice skates. It is important to Canadian Life because of the fact that Canada is so passionate about hockey. Given the similarities, it goes without saying how vital the sport is to Canada. There are leagues throughout every Province and Territory, and the Canadian National Inline Team has won one gold, two silver, and a bronze in the International Ice Hockey Federation InLine Championships. There have been some NHL Players who developed in the Canadian Inline Leagues. These include well known players such as Devin Setoguchi, Luc Robataille and Jason Chimera. The information party rocks on: A Canadian Pub in London, Ice Hockey, and Riots
